Good Morning to all of our friends. You may have noticed a different look to the blog when you looked in on us. We are transitioning to an actual blog style web presence. Sharon and I are very new to this type of set up so please bear with us and we will get it all worked out.

So anyway, Happy Easter. We spent the morning back out at Red Rock Canyon hiking The Ice Box Canyon Trail. It was a very rocky trail, tricky to navigate and not very well marked in our opinion. The mountains that surround this box canyon are not as dramatic as many of the other we have witnessed; but some of the flowers we saw were very pretty. We did not spend much time there.

We came back to the RV Park and got ourselves gussied up for the Easter Brunch at the community center. The food and atmosphere were outstanding.

After brunch we headed off to the Hoover Dam. We both have been there in prior years but never together. Very cool to learn about all that went into the building of the Dam on our “behind the scenes tour” of the dam interior and electrical generator area.
