4/28...Mendocino and Fort Bragg CA

The Pacific Coast is amazing and a site to be hold. The cliffs and the ocean’s interaction lets your mind know the power of Mother Nature. The beauty that we encountered has been truly life changing. Back home in Florida we see the ocean everywhere but not like this. This is powerful.

Both Ft Bragg and Mendocino are very small coastal towns that have no idea they belong to the State of California. When you think of California, most of us think of LA or San Francisco or any number of large metropolitan areas; but the small towns of Northern California are a world away both in mileage and state of mind. The area has so much history to offer, it’s hard to do it justice in the blog. Many lumber fortunes have been made since the late 1800’s. To this day there are many operational mills and lumber yards. Many specializing in exotic woods such as the locally sourced redwood and other hardwoods.
