I was reminded this week that You have one life to live…so make it great. We have met so many wonderful people and learned so much this week at our RV meetup. Many full timers, as well as many folks that just go out from time to time. Phil and Stacy from The You Tube Channel, Today is Someday were the hosts for our week stay at The Fun-n-Sun Campground in Lakeland, FL.
Two of the great people we met were Margee and Nick from Virginia. They travel part time with their pets (which includes 3 dogs and a bearded dragon lizard). Their RV is a 2015 Newmar Canyon Star that is set up with wheelchair access. Nick is a 23 year Army Veteran that served in the Middle East during our operations there and Margee, his wife, is a retired nurse. Their attitude is…“You have one life to live…so make it great”.
Many years ago Nick was diagnosed with Muscular Dystrophy related to his military service. As the MS has progressed it has confined him to a wheelchair. That confinement has not stopped Margee and him from experiencing all that they want to. They have visited many states and been involved in many RV events since they started RVing. After spending time with them you can clearly see the happiness that they share. Nick is so full of life and should be an inspiration to us all. Nick, Thank you for your service and for sharing your smile with us. Always remember “You have one life to live…so make it great!“
Next time you come across a vet or a first responder, stop and say hi and thank you for your service.

What an amazing couple – thank you for sharing! Such a great reminder to make the most of this time we have and focus on what we can do! Also, very encouraging to hear about companies doing work that has such a meaningful impact on people’s lives.
