Sorry for the late posting…It’s tough being on vacation…LOL Enjoy!!

Just before we got to Minnesota/Wisconsin to spend time with Family, we stopped by The SPAM Museum.

The Museum is in Austin Minnesota and is the HQ for Hormel Foods (and has been since the inception), which owns SPAM. As most of us know, SPAM has been around for what seems like forever. Actually 1937 to be exact. It has fed many around the world, including soldiers in WWII. So many flavors and recipes exist both from Hormel; as well as, great chefs around the world.

We has a great time learning more about Hormel Foods and how they have been an integral and caring part of the local community of Austin; as well as, the entire “culinary world”. We participated in a great guided tour and got to sample some of the various flavors or SPAM. Sharon and I both liked the
Jalapeno !!

So with all of that exposure to the culinary delights of SPAM we had to partake in a SPAM and egg breakfast a great local diner, Kenny’s Grill…Yummy!!!
